Geotagger & Google Earth (Mac Software)
A lot of the high end cameras have GPS abilities, essentially the picture you take has GPS coordinates in the EXIF data so you can see on a map where the picture was taken.
Recently, I found out about Geotagger. It’s a program that works with Google Earth and allows you to use Google Earth to pick the location where your photo(s) were taken and add the coordinates to the EXIF data. Another thing to consider when processing your photos.
I think, right now, it only supports jpg’s. However, I imagine RAW will soon be added.
